Travel convenience:  For serious runners, this is the best jogging stroller you can get on the market. There are many similarities when you compare it to BOB Ironman Sport Utility, but with bigger wheels it means it can carry 30 lbs more in weight. Larger wheels also means less rolling resistance when running, but it will be a bit more for you to store away in the trunk or closet. Luckily both jogging strollers have quick-release rear wheels for you to easily assemble and disassemble for each jogging trip you take. 

Safety:  The Baby Jogger Performance Series Single Stroller is  (the Juvenile Products Manufacturers Association), they certify strollers on their restraint system, brakes, leg openings, and locking mechanisms that prevent accidental folding, as well as for stability and the absence of sharp edges. The program is voluntary, and models from uncertified companies may be as safe as those from certified ones. You can visit their website www.jpma.org. All Baby Jogger Strollers are certified as well as Maclaren strollers, Bugaboo strollers and Contours Strollers. They also meet or exceed all ASTM (American Society for Testing Materials) safety standards.

Since the Baby Jogger Performance Series Single Stroller is meant to go fast, safety features are a must. That is why there is a V-Brake for increased braking power and a hand brake with a parking button. The additional safety wrist strap is attached to the stroller's bottom bar (between the rear wheels), so if you do happen to fall the stroller will not tip over with you as it is tied to the bottom of the stroller. When you decide to take a rest, use the rear parking brake to keep your jogging stroller safely in place.

Manufacturer's defect's include but are not limited to thebreaking of welds and frame tube damage. Textile or softside materials and all other components shall be warranted
for one year from the date of purchase (except for tubesand tires). Proof of purchase is required to make awarranty claim and the warranty is only extended to theoriginal purchaser.

What your baby will love:  Your baby will be comfortably seated in the padded reclining seat and secured in the padded 5-point harness. On hot days, the side of the sun canopy has ventilation panels for breezy wind to come in during your runs. What's best about the Baby Jogger Performance Series Single Stroller is it gives your baby lots of fresh air, and it's never too early to start exposing them to healthy outdoor excercise. Just make sure they are at least 8 months of age if you take them on a run, or consult with your pediatrician.

What we don't love so much:  The underseat storage bag is not very big for you to store your belongings, it is actually not a good idea to store too much below since you are going to be running with this stroller - otherwise things will fall out! We suggest you using the back seat storage instead, since it is tightly secured.

When setting up the stroller, everything is pretty straightforward - except assembling the V-brake. Take some time and read over the instruction manual and it should be fine, if not there is a toll-free number to contact their help-line 1-800-241-1848 (they are very friendly and helpful!).
