Travel convenience:  Here's the difference between the Baby Jogger City Elite Double Stroller versus the Baby Jogger City Classic Double Stroller.  The Elite version has all the funcions the classic does, except with extra functions like the raised kicker (adds leg support for smaller children and provides easy access to under seat basket), wider tread tires (to handle rough terrain), a soft handlebar console with 6 storage compartments, ventillation panels and viewing windows secured with magnets (instead of velcro), and it looks and feels better with extra seat padding and new designs!  Note the Baby Jogger City Elite Double Stroller is not a jogging stroller.

The best featue of Baby Jogger Strollers is the patented one hand lift and fold technology, see the demo on the right panel to see how easy it really is when you need to close your stroller.  Hold your baby in one hand, and close the stroller with the other.  There's no need to place your baby in the car and then put the stroller away, it saves you time and stress every single trip you make.  During the trip, you will enjoy the front swivel wheel to make easy turns, and with 12" air-inflated tires it's a dream to push and turns on a dime.

Safety:  The Baby Jogger City Elite Double Stroller is  (the Juvenile Products Manufacturers Association), they certify strollers on their restraint system, brakes, leg openings, and locking mechanisms that prevent accidental folding, as well as for stability and the absence of sharp edges. The program is voluntary, and models from uncertified companies may be as safe as those from certified ones. You can visit their website www.jpma.org. All Baby Jogger Strollers are certified as well as Maclaren strollers, Bugaboo strollers and Contours Strollers. They also meet or exceed all ASTM (American Society for Testing Materials) safety standards.

The Baby Jogger City Elite Double Stroller also has a padded 5-point harness to keep your child safely and comfortably secured in the stroller. And when you plan to take your stroller for a walk, just lock the front swivel wheel to prevent your stroller from swirving to the sides. Use the rear parking brake when you park the stroller, but do not park it unattended on a slope as it is a hazard for the stroller to fall - especially with no parental supervision!

Mobility:  The four 12" air-inflated wheels are a bit thicker than the Baby Jogger City Elite Double Stroller to take on rougher terrain.  Any bumpy road indoors or out (sidewalk, grass or trail) will be a smooth ride for your baby and a dream stroller for you to push.  It only weighs 38 lbs and has a weight capacity of 100 lbs, you will be glad that the stroller is superb in it's maneuverability since the total weight of the stroller can add upto a 138 lbs.

Durability:  They have been around for more than 20 years and still going strong, and most important is that when you purchase the Baby Jogger City Elite Double Stroller, the lightweight aluminum frame is under a lifetime warranty for manufacturer's defect.

BABY JOGGER'S WARRANTY
Manufacturer's defect's include but are not limited to the breaking of welds and frame tube damage. Textile or soft side materials and all other components shall be warranted
for one year from the date of purchase (except for tubes and tires). Proof of purchase is required to make a warranty claim and the warranty is only extended to the original purchaser.
