The Mia
Moda Facile
Umbrella Stroller

Our Stroller
Review

We give this stroller a rating of 4 / 5 stars based on our 7 critierias
of what makes a great stroller. Read on to see why this stroller will suit your lifestyle and see
what's included.
Travel
convenience: Much compared to the Maclaren Volo Stroller (8.8 lbs without hood), the Mia
Moda Facile Umbrella Stroller (16.5 lbs with hood) is almost just as good - but with an even better price tag
that comes with it. The features of the two strollers are identical, beautiful colors to choose from,
lightweight and easy to put away. So when travelling, this is the most ideal stroller to take with you - even
as a carry on!
The only thing is, is that the Maclaren Volo Stroller's a
bit fancier with the breathable mesh removable washable seat, thicker foam handles and a bigger under basket.
Whereas the Mia Moda Facile Umbrella Stroller beats the competition with a 4 position seat
recline, front wheel suspension and an adjustable calf support. And did we mention half the price?
So overall, we think the two are equally good value strollers to purchase for your baby.
Another similar product for the same price range would be the Dream On Me Lightweight Aluminum Stroller with
Canopy that also weighs 16 lbs and has a weight capacity of 35 lbs, but only has a 3-point harness.

Safety: An adjustable 5-point harness is ideal for growing
babies, it's also the best harness for any stroller to have on the market. But we do recommend your baby to
be a minimum age of 6 months before they take a ride in this stroller. The stroller has a weight capacity of
40 lbs, so they will rack up many miles with this comfy lightweight
umbrella stroller. Here's what Mia Moda has to say about
safety for strollers.
Harness
Look for a 5-point harness. This goes around the child's waist, between the legs, and over
both shoulder. It ensures that the child stays secures and that they can't wiggle out. And remember to
use the harness at all times!
Brakes
Test the foot brakes to make sure they are stable. If your model has a hand brake,
be sure to test that as well.
When stopping on a hill, always remember to set the brakes on your stroller, even
if you are just stopping for a moment. Front wheels lock to keep stroller from turning downhill while parked
sideways.

Mobility: For the value of the stroller, we are quite
impressed that it comes with front wheel suspension. It's expected to have swivelable lockable wheels these
days, but suspension makes the ride a big difference for your baby. The lockable wheels are also a great
safety feature for your baby, especially when parked on a semi-slopey hill. When trying this stroller
out it's quite easy to turn and push, but we do prefer the Maclaren Volo stroller's mobility a bit more. However, we really
love that your baby gets a 4 position recline (not included in any Maclaren Strollers).

Durability: The material for the seats are not removable,
but the canopy is. Whereas the Maclaren Strollers do have
removable and washable seats but not the canopy. Both strollers have a lightweight strong frame and good
solid wheels. Overall, we think the seat is better to be removable compared to the canopy (due to usage
wise). But the good thing about the Mia Moda Facile Umbrella Stroller is that the
seats are easy to wipe clean.

What
parents will love: Parents will happily purchase
the Mia Moda Facile Umbrella Stroller knowing that they shopped around for a good
stroller with a good price. It's hard to come by a stroller that delivers without having to break the
bank. We love the color selection and a top viewing window for you to check on your
baby.
The handles are comfy to use and the stroller is easy to use and store away, it's truly a good
value product.

What your baby will
love: With a 4 position reclining seat, your baby can sit up
right then use the 1st recline to kick back and relax (since they have such a tough life), 2nd to take a short
nap and the 3rd to lie flat and zonk out. And since the calf support is adjustable, your baby can have full
support for their legs when they are sleeping soundly. From 6 months to a weight of 40 lbs, it's really a
great stroller for you baby to grow up in. Especially when the tolddler years comes around, getting on and
off the stroller can be done all by themselves.

Adjustable calf support

What we don't love so
much: The only complaint we have is that the seats are not removable, but
since it's wipeable it's not so bad. Just make sure there are no major accidents on the
stroller!
Plus umbrella strollers are only great for short trips,
they are not extrememly well padded for your baby to sit long periods of times. So we think it's great for
quick rides and toddlers that like to walk on their own sometimes. Just don't take it to a trail, cause this
stroller is meant to run on smooth surfaces only.
