 Our Stroller Review

We give this stroller a rating of 4.5 / 5 stars based on our 7 critierias of what makes a great stroller.  Read on to see why this stroller will suit your lifestyle and see
what's included.

Travel convenience:  At 21 lbs, this lightweight stroller has by far the best sun canopy to travel to any hot destination.  Travelling usually benefits from strollers that are lightweight, comfortable for your child and has great features for the parent and the child to enjoy the stroll.  The Peg Perego Si 2010 Stroller includes all of these beneifts for a price equivalent to Maclaren's top two strollers Maclaren - Quest Sport Stroller and the Maclaren - Techno XT Collection.  Peg Perego has the extra feature of an adjustable handlebar, a removable front safety bar for your child and stands on it's own when folded.

If you want a Peg Perego Stroller that has a bit more function for your kids, check out the slightly pricier Peg Perego Pliko P3 Stroller, it has an additional footboard for your older child and a snack tray with a cup holder!  However, you will minus the incredible four 6.5" suspension wheels that comes with the Si Stroller.

Safety:  We love the four 6.5" suspension wheels (with 12 ball bearings for smooth, responsive handling).  A maneuverable stroller is a safe stroller as it provides stability thus ensuring safety for your child.  And with a 5-point padded adjustable harness, your baby can safely grow up in this stroller from new born up to 30 lbs.

Mobility:  Not a lot of strollers that have 4-wheels include front swivel / lockable wheels as it usually belongs to a 3-wheel stroller.  But since Peg Perego likes to include options for parents we finally see a one of a kind 4-wheel stroller that can twist and turn indoors and take on long walk adventures with lockable front wheels.  And as we mentioned the four 6.5" suspension wheels (with 12 ball bearings for smooth, responsive handling), you can also see why the stroller is so reliable.

Durability:  Parents trust Peg Perego for many reasons, one of them is because they are one of the leading brands in baby products and have been recognized for the past 50 years for it's quality. As for usage wise, this stroller has a maximum weight of 30 lbs.

What parents will love:  Parents will love all the color options this stroller comes in as well as all the features that comes with a lightweight stroller.  For a lightweight stroller, it really beats out Maclaren Strollers.  Features for parents that outweighs Maclaren Strollers would be an easier fold that stands alone, adjustable handles, the hood has a small pocket for storing accessories e.g. cell phones and most important of all, front swivel / lockable wheels.

What your baby will love:  Your baby will love the extra features that usually don't come with a lightweight stroller such as an adjustable foot rest for 2 positions (flat and down), 2 hand 3-position recline, a removable front safety bar and Front swivel / lockable wheels and rear locking wheels with one touch.  This is a very comfortable stroller for your child especially when it's one of the few lightweight strollers out there that accomodates a travel system.  Even compared to other well rated lightweight strollers like Bugaboo Bee Stroller and Stokke Strollers do not accomodate car seats.

What we don't love so much:  It would be nice to have just to use one hand to recline the seats, although it's not that hard to use both hands to pull the seats down but there are just too many other strollers on the market that only requires 1 hand, that is something they should think of improving for sure.  Other than that, this is a near perfect stroller that is one of the few lightweight strollers to include a travel system, which is an amazing offer for the price as well.
